What is TFP?
TFP stands for 'Time For Prints'. Before the Internet, websites and email the only way for a model to show off their portfolio was to actually have their photographs professionally printed. The prints were often mounted in an expensive and high quality display book. An agent would then show the book to prospective clients and they could decide whether or not to hire the model.
A great way a model can add to their portfolio is to collaborate for free with a photographer. The model gives up their 'Time' and the photographer delivers the 'Prints'. Since everything is now digital instead of print - the model receives a set of high quality digital images.

Do I need any experience?
No, you don't need any experience. All you need is enthusiasm for creating great images!
How long would the shoot take?
That's really your choice. If you just want a single head shot or social media profile image then as short as 10 minutes. If you want a selection of photographs for your portfolio then maybe a 1-2 hours.
If you want to visit different locations and work through various looks then plan for a full day.

How old do I have to be?
I only work with models who are over 18 and in all cases you will need to provide proof of id.
Where will the shoot be?
This really depends on the look you are wanting to achieve. If you're just wanting a plain background then I can bring my portable studio - I have a range of options.
Environmental shots are great and I like to work with the given surroundings using the available light to create mood and highlight.

Where are you based?
Queensland, Australia and I accept jobs throughout the region. I will travel further dependant on the work type.
How much does it cost?
Please contact me to discuss rates for shoots. On the other hand TFP is free! That's correct, the shoot, time, processing and delivery of photographs is free. If you are wanting more than TFP then we can negotiate the fee dependant upon the shoot location, time and intended use of the images.
Note: because it is free doesn't mean that every request for TFP can be met. I only have a limited number of TFP slots available.

Can I bring a few different outfits / looks?
Yes! This is a great idea. Having the choice of a few outfits and accessories gives you the chance to try out different looks that suit the style and location. This will help you make the most of the opportunity.
Remember that light and weather can change and it's a good idea to be flexible.

How do I know how to stand or move?
I will guide you through the process at every step. You don't need to know how to move or pose like a model. It's a two way process and we work together to get the best shots.
When will I get my photographs?
Ordinarily the images will be ready within 1 week of the shoot. If you need them urgently we can discuss options.
